I’m really super not happy with this. But Photoshop has made my computer so damned slow and buggy that I honestly can’t take it anymore. It takes hours to get anything done, and even then, the execution isn’t what I want it to be.

The kitten’s pretty cute, though.

The good news is that I’m learning the new Manga Studio. So far, it kicks the shit out of Photoshop for drawing comics. (Which I know isn’t really what Photoshop was designed for, and also I’m approaching this new program more clinically instead of barreling on through, but STILLLL.)

Fingers crossed. Stick with me, here. I make men afraid of kittens; it can’t all be bad.

So, so happy with this one. Who’d've thought that learning to use Photoshop properly would improve my work? Mwap.

It goes much more quickly, too, so multiple comics in a week are actually conceivable.

Also, the new Knife album is ridonkulous. I’m not even sorry that I said “ridonkulous.”

I think this will be my very last comic drawn free-handed. Might have some upgrading to do before I finish another one, but I think it’ll be an improvement.

Do you see the McPedro plushie hiding on the shelf? He’s a darling character from Danielle Corsetto’s Girls With Slingshots, which is one of the best comics on the damned web. This one doesn’t talk, though.

This one’s so small that I might make this week into a two-comic affair! Yeah!

I think that the hardest thing is maintaining consistent facial features… slash I’m not doing that well at all. “Practice, practice,” is what they all say.

Practice is not particularly exciting.

This one was the fastest comic ever. And yeah, I arbitrarily changed the colors of the living room. I do what I want.

Greg in panel three is pretty damned hilarious. In, like, a bad way.
